Cute Fondant Bears. X

Hey guys,

This is a cute and easy creation that will bring that extra look of amazing-ness to your cake.

You will need:
Fondant Icing / Sugarpaste
Food colouring (optional)
Non-stick board or a table top covered in icing sugar
Fondant tools or cocktail sticks
A Cooking Brush (optional)

In preparation put your fondant icing  in the fridge for a few minutes, just to make it a little easier to work with.
Now Lets Start!

Roll a out a ball shape out of the fondant icing and a slightly larger pointed oval shape. This will be the main body and head. Roll three much smaller additional balls, two the same size and one slightly larger, as well.
Use your thumb to them squash each one, so they are a sort of disc shape. These will be the ears and nuzzle.
Roll a long, yet, fat sausage and divide into four mini sausages, consisting of two long and two short, the arms and legs.

Now you have all of your pieces! We need to shape them accurately and place them together.
So, firstly, using the small end of your ball tool (or pinky finger) make two dents in the large, unflattened ball, these being the eyes.
Still using the small end of your ball tool, make 'paw' dents in the end of all four sausages to make the bear's arms and legs.
Take the two smallest discs and press the ball tool (again) into the centre of each to make the bear's ears.
Brush the bottom of the ball with a little water (is more easy to stick but optional) and attach it to the narrow end of the upright cone, the head and body together. Press down to ensure it stays in place.
Stick a short sausage to the top of the bear's body to make a arm. Flatten it to the body at the top and smooth it out a little. Repeat with the other side.
Stick a big sausage to the side of the body, at the bottom, Flatten against the body at the back, then stick on the second leg.
Dampen the base of the ears and stick them to the top of the bear's head, pressing gently in place.
Also dampen the back of  the large disc and stick to the bear's face.
Roll a tiny ball of fondant and stick on the tip of the top, to make a nose.
And finally, a scriber tool (or cocktail stick) to put a dot in the middle of the nuzzle, to make a mouth.

And there you have it! A Super Easy! Super Cute! Fondant bear that can top any cake or baking creation.
Enjoy!!!
