Another recipe for the low calorie series. Here is a quick and simple breakfast smoothie that would get you going for the day and give you enough energy to last till lunch. This takes only 5 minutes and can be changed. The oats will give you more energy and add as many as much as you desire!
Serves 1 person
Calories: 123kcal
Ingredients:
- 1 small ripe banana
- about 145g of any berries (blackberries, strawberries, blueberries and raspberries)
- apple juice or mineral water
- runny honey (to serve and to sweeten)
- oats (rye or barley)
Add all of the ingredients to the mixer apart from the honey. Once blended add a little honey to sweeten if you would like and keep adding till your desired sweetness.
Pour into a glass or flask and enjoy. You can add berries and honey to top and enjoy!
