So it is now June and the weather is getting a lot warmer in the UK. Lots of the upcoming recipes will be for picnics and summer events. I have seen lots of cool recipes that I think will be quite cool to show you and when I start up my YouTube channel maybe I can film them.
This recipe is a tear and share loaf which can be had at parties or when you go out for a picnic. I love these kind of recipes as you can try lots of different flavours. You can put pretty much whatever you want. Some recipes have meat and lentils which make for a very filling dish.
Ingredinets:
500g pack of bread mix, ciabatta works well
145g of tub of fresh pesto
3 roasted peppers, chopped
250g of mozzarella ball, chopped
handful of basil, diced
Method:
1. Make the bread dough as it says on the packet and instead of adding the oil add 1 tbsp of pesto. Leave the dough to rise until double in size.
2. Grease a springform tin with oil and mix together all the ingredients apart from 2tbsp of pesto and 1 tbsp of chopped peppers.
3. Divide the dough into 12 equal pieces and roll each piece into a ball then flatten into discs. Divide the pesto-veg filling between the 12 pieces of dough, then shape back into balls by pinching the edges together and rolling until smooth. Arrange the dough ball in the springform tin. Cover with a piece of oiled cling film and leave to prove until doubled in size.
4. Heat oven to 180C/160C fan/gas 4. Remove the clingfilm and scatter over the remaining pesto and chopped peppers. Bake in the oven for 50 mins or until golden. Leave to cool in the tin for 10 mins and then remove and leave until completely cool.
Then it is ready to eat and enjoy x
Xx.
